Plantaris Muscle

The plantaris muscle is a muscle in the foot that animals use to pick things up with their feet.  Our ape ancestors have this muscle nit they get better use of it then humans.  This is a sign of evolution because humans don't use their feet to pick things up, we only need our hands.  Nowadays, only about 9% of humans are born without it.  Also, if a person needs tissue reconstruction, the surgeon will use this tissue on some occasions.
