Humans have been around in the beginning of Pleistocene in the world.  The first humans were made about 7 million years ago.  The scientist found 14 species, of which are known as Australopithecus.  They were 1-1.5 meters tall.  They walked upright, had a protruding jaw, prominent eyebrow ridges and a small brain case.  The difference from humans now are that we are taller and do not have fur anymore.  We do not have a tail anymore, and we do not need out appendix anymore.
